Understanding Menopause at Work
Let’s Talk Menopause
Designed for Corporate Professional Women, workshops and groups (25-30 people) 50-minute sessions. In person or via Zoom.
Our 2 or 4-week program has been designed to open the conversation around menopause. It provides an understanding of menopause, what is happening in the body and advice on how women can best support themselves. WEEK 1
Understanding Perimenopause and Menopause
This session aims to educate you about the biological and physical process of perimenopause and menopause. You will gain knowledge and feel empowered with practical strategies to help you navigate this important time in your life and to come through it feeling healthy and revitalised.
This session will include:
- An introduction to perimenopause and the sequence of hormonal changes

Laughter Yoga

A typical one-hour Laughter Yoga session will include a combination of the following exercises:
- Gentle breathing and stretching
- Playful laughter exercises that reduce inhibitions and shyness and convert simulated laughter into natural, spontaneous laughter

Mindful Eating 1 Hour Workshop
‘Mindful Eating’ is one mealtime skill that can fit with any healthy eating style. This practice involves applying simple mindfulness techniques to the process of eating. Research has shown that eating mindfully may help you to eat smaller portions and fewer calories and reduce emotional eating. Taking a more “mindful” approach to eating can enhance the enjoyment of your meals, aid good digestion, reduce anxious thoughts surrounding food, and improve your overall relationship with food.
In this one-hour online workshop we will learn what mindfulness is and how Mindfulness can transform our struggles with food and renew our sense of pleasure, appreciation, and satisfaction with eating food.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – Workplace
Mental ill health costs Australian workplaces $4.7 billion in absenteeism, $1.6 billion in presenteeism and $146 million in compensation claims per year. Only 22% of full-time workers with signs of common mental illness receive treatment for their mental health problems Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training course which gives your employees the skills and confidence to have supportive conversations with their co-workers and help guide them to professional help if needed. It has been shown to increase knowledge, confidence and helping behaviours, and reduce stigma.
Mental Health First Aid at Work can assist with:
- Equipping managers & employees about early recognition of the signs of mental health problems and how to respond appropriately.
- Education staff and decreasing their stress as they will have more of an understanding about mental health and know what to do if someone is having mental health problems or a mental health crisis.
- Create a workplace culture that promotes and understands the importance of mental health.
- Encourage employees to seek help for mental illness.
